Faucet Problems We Fix
Dripping Faucet

Can I repair a faucet myself?
Simple aerator cleaning and cartridge replacement are DIY-friendly. Anything involving shutoff valves, supply lines, or under-sink work is better left to a plumber. Attempting a repair without shutting off water properly can cause a flood. If you're not confident, call us — most faucet repairs take under an hour.
How long does faucet repair take?
30–90 minutes for most repairs. A cartridge swap on a common Moen or Delta faucet takes about 30 minutes. If the valve seat is damaged or the shutoff valves are seized, add another 30–60 minutes.
Do you stock replacement cartridges?
We stock common Moen, Delta, and Kohler cartridges on the truck. For less common brands, we may need to order parts — but we can usually get them same or next day.
Is it better to repair or replace a dripping faucet?

What causes a faucet to drip?
Worn cartridge (most common), worn washer (compression faucets), worn O-rings, or a damaged valve seat. The specific cause depends on the faucet type and brand.
Can you repair any brand of faucet?
Yes — all major brands including Moen, Delta, Kohler, American Standard, Pfister, and Grohe. We may need to order parts for less common brands, but we can repair virtually any faucet.
My faucet has low pressure — is it the faucet?
Often it's the aerator (the screen at the tip of the spout). Unscrew it and check for mineral buildup. If cleaning doesn't help, it may be the supply valve or cartridge. Low pressure at multiple fixtures points to a supply line or pressure issue upstream.
Can you install a faucet I purchased?
Yes — we install customer-supplied faucets. We recommend purchasing from a plumbing supply house rather than big-box stores for better quality and longer-lasting cartridges.
How long do faucet repairs last?
A cartridge replacement typically lasts 5–10 years. If the faucet body is corroded or the valve seat is damaged, the repair may not last as long. In that case, replacement is the better investment.
Do you repair outdoor faucets (hose bibs)?
Yes — including frost-free hose bib installation and repair. Outdoor faucets that freeze and crack during Maryland winters are a common service call. We replace them with frost-free sillcocks that drain automatically when the hose is disconnected.
