What Reverse Osmosis Removes — And Why It Matters for Southern Maryland Well Water
Reverse osmosis works by forcing water through a semi-permeable membrane with pores small enough to block dissolved contaminants while allowing water molecules to pass through. The result is water that is 95–99% free of dissolved solids — far cleaner than any whole-house filter can achieve.
